Spend the day discovering the French-side of Austin.

  • Lunch/Dinner: An apéritif dînatoire style French meal will be eaten gradually as the day unfolds you will have discovered several different restaurant. *(Drinks not included in the tour cost);

  • Petanque is all the rage in Paris, learn to play;
  • Texas was once French: learn more about the history with a private tour of the 1686 "La Belle" shipwreck interpreted by Toni S. Turner (co-author of "A Watery Grave" -a book about the ship). The boat is currently on display at the Bob Bullock History Museum but will be sent for temporary exhibition in Paris, France before returning permanently to Austin.

This tour will begin at 10am. There will be walking everywhere possible: participants need to be in good shape and dress according to the weather. Transportation between tour sites will be by private van. Dates: (February 28: SOLD OUT, October 17th SPACE AVAILABLE)
