Eat in the finest luxury restaurants, visit producers, go wine tasting in both France's finest and most unique wine regions, meet some of France's best culinary artisans. If you are serious about learning about French food, you'll enjoy this truly educational sojourn that takes a broad look at the French version of the "Local Food Movement" and "Farm to Table". You will take culinary history and cooking classes and go beyond the classroom to visit artisan winemakers, cheese-makers and one of France's best chocolate-makers. This tour features five Michelin star restaurants and two of France's officially recognized best food producers.

 
Collioure

Speak French all week! Mornings offer you optional intermediate or advanced grammar, French speaking classes and a cultural lecture series on the history and food of the region where you are staying. Each afternoon you'll go on an excursion to practice your French: visit local producers, take a guided tour of the local castle and fort, hike to a winery to taste the delicious local wines and more! By the end of the week you'll practically feel like a villager in the charming fishing village where you'll be staying in a cottage with your fellow sojourners: you'll be shopping in the market, strolling along the artists' walk, talking with the locals. Breakfasts and dinners will be eaten family-style at the cottage, while you'll lunch in the places the locals love including a luxurious Michelin star restaurant and a coastal winery.
